Natasha Wilson Boland, team member: Today was our first day of vocational visits. Julie and I visited NMIT, a TAFE institution - similar to a US community college. We learned a lot about the Australian postsecondary education system and were especially interested in NMIT, which is nearly 60% international students. Kyla, Cara, and Rita all reported excellent vocational visits as well. We’re learning a lot very quickly!

We met up this afternoon for a team meeting at Julie’s host home. The pictures are from her host home and our afternoon meeting, where we reviewed our presentation, which we’ll give for the first time tomorrow night to RC of Rosanna and a couple other clubs they’ve invited to join. Her host, Lois, prepared a great snack of scones, cake, and coffee to get us through our work. We’re eating very well!
